Job summary

Yahoo is seeking a security-focused professional to lead the end-to-end rollout of a new browser security platform and own the endpoint hardening program. You will shape policies, partner with device management, and drive security improvements across the fleet.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in information security, hands-on macOS/Windows hardening, and experience with MDMs like Jamf or InTune, plus familiarity with enterprise AI tools used for automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years in information security, focusing on endpoint security or security engineering.
• Hands-on experience hardening and managing macOS and Windows endpoints at enterprise scale using MDM platforms.
• Experience with enterprise identity providers (Okta, SAML).
• Knowledge of removable media and data transfer policy enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Lead rollout of a new browser security platform from pilot to full production.
• Own endpoint hardening program and policy development.
• Develop AI-assisted workflows to automate review, risk-scoring, and triage of policy requests.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, and communications to advance security milestones.
• Triaging exceptions and updating policies to prevent recurrence.
• Report fleet risk posture and program progress to leadership.
