Job summary

Yahoo is seeking an experienced security professional to own an end-to-end browser and endpoint security program. You will rollout a new browser security platform, run proof of concepts with device partners, and scale to full production.

You will become the source of truth for endpoint hardening, define policies, and drive milestones across the security roadmap, balancing security with productive workflows while staying curious about the threat landscape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Direct experience with enterprise browser security or zero-trust platforms.
• 4+ years in information security, endpoint security or security engineering.
• Hands-on experience hardening macOS/Windows endpoints at enterprise scale using MDM like Jamf or InTune.

Responsibilities

• Build and tune policies for a browser security platform and partner with device management.
• Automate review and risk-scoring of extension requests using AI tools.
• Review AI-generated policy logic and prevent policy bypass.
• Collaborate with identity, legal, and comms teams to progress security roadmaps.
• Support fleet security across laptop lifecycle and reporting to leadership.
