Yahoo is seeking a security engineer to own an end-to-end browser and endpoint hardening program. You will lead the rollout of a new browser security platform, test with device management partners, and scale from pilot devices to the full fleet.

You will build and tune policies, review AI-driven extension requests, and partner with IT, legal and communications to advance the security roadmap from design to launch. Strong collaboration and hands-on engineering are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years in information security, focused on endpoints.
• Hands-on experience hardening macOS and Windows at enterprise scale.
• Experience with MDM like Jamf or InTune and policy consoles.
• Familiarity with browser extension security across major browsers.
• Experience with identity providers such as Okta or SAML.
• Knowledge of removable media and data transfer policies.
• Strong communication skills to discuss security tradeoffs with teams.
• Experience using enterprise AI tools to automate investigations.
• Scripting/prompts to integrate AI into security workflows.
