Job summary

The Brixton Group in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a senior endpoint engineer for a long-term contract-to-hire in a hybrid role. You will own and optimize Intune, MECM/SCCM, and MDM across Windows and Linux endpoints, with responsibilities spanning provisioning, patching, deployment, and security.

The role emphasizes automation using PowerShell (and Bash) and requires mentoring peers while partnering with Security, Infrastructure, Service Desk, and Engineering teams to enforce endpoint standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of enterprise IT/endpoint experience with strong Intune and MECM/SCCM engineering skills.
• Hands-on experience managing Windows and Linux/Ubuntu endpoints in enterprise environments.
• Experience with MDM, Autopilot, Entra ID, Conditional Access, compliance policies, and endpoint security.
• Strong PowerShell skills plus exposure to Bash/Shell or similar scripting.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and optimize Intune, MECM/SCCM, and MDM platforms across enterprise endpoints
• Manage device provisioning, configuration, patching, software deployment, compliance, and endpoint lifecycle
• Troubleshoot complex endpoint issues and serve as a senior technical escalation resource
• Build automation and improve endpoint processes using PowerShell and scripting
• Partner with Security, Infrastructure, Service Desk, and Engineering teams on endpoint standards and improvements
