Job summary

Hyundai AutoEver America is seeking a Sr. Desktop Systems (Support) Specialist to design, deploy, and manage high-performance workstation environments for engineering and data-intensive applications in Joliet, IL.

You will support end-users, optimize device management, and lead automation initiatives. The role emphasizes SCCM/MECM expertise, Intune and Autopilot, PowerShell scripting, and strong AD/Group Policy knowledge, with a focus on security baselines and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in workstation engineering or enterprise endpoint management.
• Expert-level proficiency with SCCM/MECM (OSD, task sequences, patching, packaging).
• Strong experience with Intune, Autopilot, and modern device management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain high-performance workstation environments and client computing infrastructure.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and deployment workflows.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce workstation configurations and security baselines.
• Build and maintain standardized workstation images using SCCM, MDT, or Autopilot; provide engineering support for complex issues.
• Monitor endpoint performance, reliability, and compliance using analytics and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with security, networking, cloud, and service desk teams; document processes and configurations; mentor junior engineers.
