Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking an IS — Information Systems professional to support end-user software deployment and remediation in our IT Service Operations team in Columbia, SC. The role focuses on secure, scalable deployment automation and ongoing client support.

You will work with Windows 11, MSI packaging, and enterprise endpoint management platforms to deliver reliable configurations and troubleshooting across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Windows 11 OS architecture, application lifecycle, registry, services, and security constraints.
• Demonstrated success delivering secure, scalable, and automated software deployment solutions through scripting, application packaging, endpoint management, and virtual application delivery platforms.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting with demonstrated experience developing automation solutions for software deployment, system administration, endpoint management, and operational process improvement.
• Proven experience administering enterprise endpoint management platforms, including HCL BigFix, Microsoft Intune, or SCCM/MECM; multiple platforms preferred.
• Hands-on experience creating, modifying, troubleshooting, and maintaining MSI packages, transforms (MSTs), and silent installation solutions for enterprise software deployment.
• Experience packaging, installing, configuring, publishing, and supporting applications delivered through Citrix XenApp or Omnissa environments.
• Solid experience supporting enterprise IT environments within a Help Desk or tiered break/fix model, diagnosing and resolving complex software issues and collaborating across IT.

Responsibilities

• 20% Meetings - Attending daily/weekly status meetings and project touchpoints.
• 60% Development - Scripting, testing, and troubleshooting software installation automation.
• 10% Collaboration - Communication with internal customers/vendors for troubleshooting or project requirements.
• 10% Administrative Tasks – Updating request ticket status and documenting scripting solutions.
