Job summary

TM Floyd & Company (TMF) in Columbia, SC seeks an Application Packaging & Deployment Specialist. Hybrid role with onsite Tue–Thu. Requires ability to obtain U.S. security clearance and strong Windows 11, PowerShell scripting, and enterprise endpoint management experience. Familiarity with BigFix, Intune, SCCM is preferred.

You will deliver secure, scalable deployment solutions and work with Citrix XenApp/Omnissa environments, while supporting a busy IT operations team and stakeholders.

• 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate degree in CS/IT or related field

Job description

We're hiring an Application Packaging & Deployment Specialist to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday.

Work Authorization: Sponsorship is not available for this role; no C2C or third-party candidates. Candidates must be able to work on our W2.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
• Solid understanding of Windows 11 OS architecture, application lifecycle, registry, services, and security constraints
• Demonstrated success delivering secure, scalable, and automated software deployment solutions through expertise in scripting, application packaging, endpoint management, and virtual application delivery platforms
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting with demonstrated experience developing automation solutions for software deployment, system administration, endpoint management, and operational process improvement
• Proven experience administering one or more enterprise endpoint management platforms, including HCL BigFix, Microsoft Intune, or Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM); experience with multiple platforms is strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience creating, modifying, troubleshooting, and maintaining MSI packages, transforms (MSTs), and silent installation solutions for enterprise software deployment
• Experience packaging, installing, configuring, publishing, and supporting applications delivered through Citrix XenApp or Omnissa virtual application environments
• Solid experience supporting enterprise IT environments within a help desk or tiered break/fix support model, including diagnosing and resolving complex software issues, communicating effectively with customers, and collaborating across IT areas
