Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Senior Endoscopy Technician to support advanced endoscopic procedures and equipment maintenance in a high-volume Endoscopy Center. You will help ensure infection prevention, quality assurance, and patient safety while contributing to education and process improvements.

Requirements include 3 years of endoscopy experience, AGTS certification from SGNA, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of endoscopy experience.
• AGTS certification from SGNA required.
• BLS/CPR certifications required on hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Joint Commission, SGNA and hospital quality/safety guidelines.
• Educate self and others on duties and process improvements.
• Maintain infection control and quality assurance in endoscopy.
• Ensure accurate dictated reports and medical records submission.
• Perform routine maintenance and manage inventory of endoscopy supplies.
