Job summary

Providence Facey Medical Foundation in Mission Hills, CA is seeking an experienced GI lab assistant to support physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, delivering safe, efficient patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited medical assisting, nursing assistant, or surgical technician program; BLS within 30 days of hire; and at least 3 years GI/Endo experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, nursing assistants or surgical technicians or equivalent combination of coursework, experience or training.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 3 years GI / Endo experience.
• Upon hire: SGNA Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist GI physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the GI lab, ensuring patient safety and efficient care.
