Job summary

GI Alliance in Providence, RI, seeks an experienced Endoscopy Technician to assist the endoscopy team during procedures and provide patient-focused care in a fast-paced setting.

You will prep for procedures, support physicians, maintain sterile technique, manage supplies, and participate in CPR when needed; strong communication and multi-tasking are essential. Minimum two years in endoscopy and CPR certification required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years experience in endoscopy preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient technical (computer) skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Self-motivated with initiative.
• Strong sense of ethics.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe patient care as directed by the RN and according to center policy and procedure.
• Efficiently and effectively assists physician with procedures.
• Anticipates physician's needs during procedure and in preparation.
• Maintains inventory levels and ensures proper instrument processing and cleaning.
• Performs hand hygiene and uses PPE according to standards.
