Job summary

Providence Facey Medical Foundation in California is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional patient care, oversee endoscopic procedures, and support safety across pre-procedure, procedure, and recovery areas.

The role models nursing standards, collaborates with teams, and helps implement management policies while maintaining high-quality care for all patients and families. The candidate must have CA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• California Registered Nurse License at time of hire.
• BLS certification at time of hire.
• ACLS certification at time of hire.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional patient care following established standards and practices.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Assist in organizing and daily function of the procedure room per policies and procedures.
• Oversee patient care activities in pre-procedure, procedure and recovery areas with a focus on safety.

Provides professional patient care for all patients following established standards and practices. Serves as a role model for Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants and LVNs by providing leadership which fosters positive attitudes and change, as well as supports management policies and procedures. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Assists in the organization and daily function of the procedure room in accordance with established federal, state and accreditation standards and facility policies and procedures. Assists in overseeing patient care activities in the pre-procedure, procedure and recovery areas and maintains a high standard of safety for the patient and other staff members.

Required Qualifications:
