Lonza in Vacaville, California, hires a Principal Project Manager to lead capital and non-capital projects at the site, ensuring safe delivery and strict adherence to cGMP quality, risk, schedule, and budget.

The role collaborates with Global Engineering, Vacaville F&E, MSAT, SHE, and Quality, guiding end-to-end project execution and contract management to optimize timelines and outcomes. This is a fully site-based position requiring in-person collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience delivering end-to-end project execution from design to closeout.
• Strong budget management and governance of multi‑million dollar projects.
• Proven ability to navigate highly regulated, cGMP environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex cGMP facility modifications and capital projects.
• Manage budgets and milestones for manufacturing upgrades and new construction.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and EHS requirements.
• Communicate objectives and risks with senior management and client teams.
• Partner with procurement to negotiate and manage external contracts.
• Identify risks, resolve conflicts, and align stakeholders for outcomes.
