Job summary

Extend Information Systems Inc. in Charlotte, NC seeks an EMV Certification Engineer or Payment Certification Analyst with hands-on experience certifying payment terminals with major U.S. processors.

The role requires three-plus years of EMV certification work, familiarity with TSYS or Chase, and the ability to analyze certification logs, troubleshoot test cases, and coordinate with development and QA teams. Experience with PAX terminals and contact/contactless payments is a plus.

Qualifications

• Three-plus years of direct EMV certification experience.
• Experience with major processors (TSYS, Chase).
• Knowledge of EMV transaction flows and certification requirements.
• Experience with terminal hardware/software certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Review EMV certification logs and test results.
• Diagnose certification failures at the field/tag level.
• Identify required changes and communicate recommendations to Client and PAX development teams.
• Support end-to-end processor certification activities through successful approval.
• Partner with development, QA, and processor certification teams to resolve issues quickly.
