Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an experienced EMV Hardware Test Engineer to join a payments technology team in Alpharetta, GA. You will design and execute detailed test plans for credit/debit card transactions, including EBT and gift card scenarios, and verify outputs against specifications.

Ideal candidates bring deep EMV L3 knowledge, Base24 and ISO 8583 experience, and hands-on use of JMeter, Splunk, Postman, Jira, and Zephyr Scale in test management and certification workflows.

Qualifications

• EMV Level 3 knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Experience with Base24 and ISO 8583 messaging.
• Design and execute test plans for credit/debit transactions (incl. EBT/gift cards).
• Capture and analyze host/simulator logs for certification processes.
• Strong familiarity with PTS specifications and Mainframe systems.
• Basic programming knowledge (Java) to troubleshoot EMV implementations.
• Proficient in JMeter for performance/functional testing.
• Knowledge of FIME BTT workflows for testing and certification.
• Proficient in Splunk, Postman, Zephyr Scale, and Jira for test management.

Responsibilities

• Designs and executes detailed test plans for payment devices.
• Analyzes logs to support card brand certification submissions.
• Applies PTS specs to verify security and interoperability.
• Uses JMeter to validate performance and functionality.
• Coordinates with certification teams using FIME BTT workflows.
