Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Lead Electrical Analytical Engineer to perform EMT/time-domain analysis for power systems. You will conduct TOV, TRV, and insulation coordination studies using PSCAD or EMTP-RV, delivering insights and design optimizations.

The role requires 12+ years in time-domain analysis, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication. Hybrid work arrangement offered with on-site collaboration as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with power systems focus.
• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Extensive time-domain analysis experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed EMT/time-domain analysis of power systems.
• Perform calculations for TOV, TRV, switching studies, insulation coordination.
• Develop solutions to optimize performance and mitigate risks.
