Distinct in Orange County is seeking an Employment Trial Partner for a remote or hybrid role. Base salary ranges from $250,000 to $285,000 with bonus programs, a 401(k) plan, and paid parental leave.

You will handle large employment files from arrival to verdict, craft strategy early, select juries, and lead witnesses at trial. The ideal candidate has ten years or more of litigation experience including employment jury trials, California Bar admission, and appellate experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead employment jury trials from case arrival to verdict.
• Develop theory early and build strategy accordingly.
• Oversee witnesses and manage trial teams with juniors assisting.
• Travel as needed for trials or client needs.
