Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution is seeking a Senior Employment Litigation Attorney for a Chicago-based, remote-friendly role to lead employment matters from inception to resolution. You will handle both plaintiff and defense-side disputes and shape case strategy, pleadings, motions and discovery through hearings.

In this boutique practice, you will mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the growth of the employment group, leveraging an established or portable book of business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of employment litigation experience.
• Both plaintiff and defense-side experience required.
• Strong litigation, writing and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage matters with a high degree of autonomy.
• Proven ability to mentor junior attorneys.
• Portable book of business preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Handle both plaintiff and defense-side employment disputes.
• Develop case strategy and oversee pleadings, motions, discovery and litigation proceedings.
• Appear at hearings, mediations and other contested matters.
• Work directly with clients and provide strategic employment litigation advice.
• Mentor and support junior attorneys.
• Contribute to the continued development of the employment practice.
