Job summary

Distinct | North America is seeking a senior employment litigation partner for its California practice, with a fully remote setup anchored to Los Angeles. The role focuses on high-stakes matters and leadership of junior attorneys, while serving clients across the firm’s national defense platform.

You will handle PAGA and FEHA matters, supervise associates, and appear in court as needed, with a compensation package in the listed range and a substantial annual bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10+ years in management-side employment litigation.
• Experience handling wage-hour class actions.
• Admission to the California Bar is required.
• Ability to mentor associates and supervise junior lawyers.
• Skilled in courtroom advocacy and motion practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead PAGA notices and wage-hour class actions from filing to mediation.
• Handle FEHA claims including harassment, retaliation, termination and discrimination.
• Supervise associates and dedicate time to teaching and development.
• Coordinate with HR on terminations and related matters.
• Take depositions, argue motions, and try cases when settlements fail.
