Job summary

Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is seeking a team-oriented Senior Associate to join its Employment and Labor practice in the Indianapolis office. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in management-side employment law litigation and counseling, including taking and defending depositions and drafting dispositive motions.

Wage-and-hour class actions experience is a plus and credentials must be outstanding.

Qualifications

• Requires 6+ years of experience in employment and labor law.Experience focusing on management-side employment law litigation and counseling.
• Experience taking and defending depositions and drafting dispositive motions.
• Advising on litigation strategy; strong research and writing skills required.
• Wage-and-hour collective and class actions experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take and defend depositions as part of employment and labor matters.
• Draft dispositive motions and explore strategic avenues for litigation.
• Advise clients on litigation strategy and case management.
• Collaborate with partners and teams to deliver effective client service.
