Qualifications

• Oregon bar admission is preferred or willingness to seek admission promptly.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in state and federal employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, leave, wrongful termination, and restrictive covenant disputes.
• Handle all phases of litigation from pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motions practice to mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Provide day-to-day employment counseling and risk mitigation strategies to clients.
• Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice groups on sophisticated matters, participate in business development, and mentor junior attorneys.
• The team is known for taking cases to trial when needed and delivering favorable outcomes for clients.
