Job summary

You will work with partners on matters from inception to resolution, taking ownership of strategy, litigation management, and client counseling, with significant courtroom advocacy.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 6+ years of litigation experience in state and/or federal court.
• Experience handling employment litigation matters.
• Active California Bar membership or ability to obtain quickly.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment litigation matters and components with increasing independence.
• Represent employers and employees in state/federal courts and arbitration.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and briefs for diverse employment issues.
• Take and defend depositions; participate in hearings and mediations.
• Counsel on compliance, investigations, and wage practices in employment contexts.
• Collaborate with partners on lean case teams to deliver high-quality services.
