CyberCoders in San Francisco seeks an Employment Litigation Partner to lead high-stakes defense matters, including wage-and-hour and class actions, guiding the practice from inception through resolution.

You will mentor associates, build client relationships, lead strategy in state and federal court, and help shape a collaborative Labor & Employment group.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of employment defense litigation experience, with wage and hour and class action exposure.
• Ability to manage complex litigation in California state and federal courts.
• Proven leadership and mentoring track record that develops other attorneys.
• Strong advocacy, analytical writing, and client communication skills.
• Active California Bar admission in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Lead sophisticated employment defense matters including wage and hour, PAGA, class and collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination from inception through resolution.
• Try and argue complex cases in California state and federal courts and represent employers before the EEOC, U.S. Department of Labor, and state agencies.
• Deliver strategic employment counseling and proactive risk-management advice for clients.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop associates and legal staff, building depth of the practice group.
• Cultivate and grow lasting client relationships; portable book of business welcomed but not required.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on practice development, thought leadership, and industry positioning.
• Contribute to a culture of excellence, inclusion, and mutual support across the broader Labor & Employment team.
