CyberCoders is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join a nationally recognized, full-service law firm in San Francisco. The role focuses on sophisticated employment matters for a diverse roster of employers, from closely held businesses to large national organizations.

The ideal candidate will handle employment litigation and advise on compliance, while contributing to a collegial, entrepreneurial culture with strong partner mentorship and opportunities for long-term career

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Active California Bar membership in good standing.
2–5+ years of employment litigation experience.
Experience with wage and hour litigation and PAGA preferred.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple matters and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda.
Conduct legal research and case analysis.
Take and defend depositions.
Attend court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
Advise employers on California and federal employment law compliance.
Assist with drafting employee handbooks, policies, and employment agreements.
Partner with clients to develop practical solutions that minimize employment-related risk.
