Job summary

True Talent Solutions Partners seeks a senior attorney for California employment defense, handling complex employer-side litigation and counseling. You will lead matters, mentor junior attorneys, and help grow client relationships.

Responsibilities include defending FEHA, Title VII, wage-and-hour, and PAGA actions; managing cases through discovery, motions, and agency appearances (EEOC, DLSE); advising on HR policies and CA employment law compliance; and developing business with technology

Qualifications

• 8+ years of post-JD experience in California employer-side employment litigation.
• Active California Bar membership and a JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Demonstrated experience defending FEHA, PAGA, wage and hour, and class action matters.
• Experience with trade secret and unfair competition litigation, and appearances before EEOC/CRD/DLSE.
• Employment law experience that includes litigation and HR counseling.
• Employer-side practice background with client origination and business development and a portable book of business.
• Experience at a mid-size regional firm or established employment law boutique, with ability to supervise and mentor junior attorneys.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in state and federal litigation involving FEHA, Title VII, wage and hour claims, and PAGA class actions.
• Manage cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, motions, and appearances before agencies such as EEOC, CRD, and DLSE.
• Advise clients on workforce management, HR policies, and compliance with California employment laws.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to practice growth through existing and new business.
• Lead case strategy and supervise and mentor junior associates.
• Handle employment matters for technology companies and middle-market businesses.
