Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Licensed to practice law in applicable jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment law counseling on hiring, performance management, discipline, terminations, accommodations, leaves, wage/hour compliance, investigations, employee relations, and state mandates.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state employment laws including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, ADEA.
• Drafts, reviews, and updates employment-related policies, handbooks, and procedures.
• Advises Company Officers and senior management on employment law issues and risk.
• Supervises employment-related litigation and EEOC matters; negotiates resolutions of disputes.
