Job summary

Relativity is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to act as a trusted advisor across complex workplace matters, leading investigations end-to-end and ensuring fair, defensible outcomes. The Senior role partners with HRBPs, Legal, and leadership to strengthen culture as Relativity scales.

The position requires strategic ER expertise, multi-state compliance knowledge, and the ability to coach managers while collaborating with Legal and HRBPs to align ER with talent and organizational outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years in Employee Relations or HR compliance role
• Experience leading workplace investigations independently from intake through resolution
• Working knowledge of multi-state employment law and regulatory compliance requirements
• Proven ability to manage sensitive, high-risk cases with discretion and sound judgment
• Strong written communication skills — able to produce clear, legally-defensible documentation

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end investigations into complex employee relations matters
• Partner with Legal to manage risk, escalation thresholds, and compliance requirements
• Advise on high-risk performance cases and disciplinary actions
• Coach managers on feedback delivery and documentation, navigating difficult conversations
• Analyze ER case data to identify patterns and drive improvements to ER playbooks and workflows
