Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, is seeking a strategic Employee Benefits leader to oversee a book of business while driving client satisfaction and long-term partnerships in the Bethesda, MD area.

You will partner with producers, leadership, carriers, and internal teams to deliver innovative benefits solutions, mentor a team of consultants, and ensure service excellence with operational efficiency.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative leadership.
• Self-starter; able to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong relationship management and client advisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of employee benefits clients and strategy.
• Maintain relationships to drive retention and expand services.
• Partner with producers and executives to ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide guidance on benefits solutions, trends, and regulatory developments.
• Mentor and develop consulting team; set goals and manage performance.
• Collaborate with shared services to deliver efficient client solutions.
• Lead negotiations with carriers and vendors.
• Share best practices across markets.
