Jobot is seeking an Eminent Domain Attorney (Condemnor) in Austin, TX. Open to associate or partner level with a hybrid schedule and on-site work. The role focuses on high-profile infrastructure matters for public agencies and private property owners when conflicts allow.

You will handle acquisitions, pre-condemnation matters, and litigation, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver value for clients and communities.

Qualifications

• Strong litigation, writing, and client service skills.
• Experience in eminent domain, inverse condemnation, or real estate litigation.
• Public agency work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise public agency clients on property acquisitions for infrastructure projects.
• Guide clients through pre-condemnation and acquisition processes, including appraisals and offers.
• Litigate eminent domain actions, including possession and valuation disputes.
• Defend inverse condemnation and related property rights claims.
• Collaborate with appraisers, engineers, relocation consultants, and other experts.
• Negotiate settlements and support agency staff and boards.
