Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Eminent Domain & Condemnation Attorney to join a Georgia-based team serving cities, counties and public authorities. Represent government entities in condemnation matters, handle pre-litigation to trial, and advise on valuation and just compensation under Georgia law.

We offer a generous compensation package, unlimited PTO, a hybrid schedule with 2 remote days weekly after 90 days, and full health insurance.

Qualifications

• Active and good standing Georgia bar license required.
• 0 to 7 years of condemnation, eminent domain, or real estate litigation experience.
• Strong academic background and written communication skills.
• Local government law experience a plus but not required.
• Stable work history preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent local government entities in condemnation and eminent domain matters including right-of-way acquisition, road widening, and public infrastructure projects
• Handle matters from pre-litigation negotiation through trial as needed
• Advise government clients on property valuation, just compensation, and condemnation procedures under Georgia law
• Work alongside experienced government law attorneys on complex matters governed by local, state, and federal law
• Serve a recession-resistant client base with consistent workflow across economic cycles
