Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation in Anacortes, WA seeks an Emergency Response Specialist to lead mid-to-senior ER activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and readiness of the ER teams.

The role requires extensive experience in plant production and safety, ability to direct or guide others, and travel up to 30% for drills and on-site responses. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent years of experience in lieu of the degree.
• Experience in Plant Production or Safety is required.
• Experience on Emergency Response Teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives ER team leads to manage training, compliance and conformance.
• Serves as primary ER Coordinator / Focal Point per regulatory and NFPA requirements.
• Develops PSR Incident Commanders and maintains ICS proficiency.
• Acts as Field Safety Representative for vacations, shutdowns and refinery activities.
• Interacts with local agencies and mutual aid partners; coordinates ERT audits and recognition.
• Leads Medical/Rescue, HAZMAT, Drone and Oil Spill Teams training and review.
• Coordinates and conducts site ERT drills and on-site/off-site training events.
