The State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities seeks an Emergency Program Manager 2 to lead the Anchorage Airport Operations and Safety Component. • Two years of managerial experience managing an organized effort to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, or recover from emergencies, disasters or terrorist events.
• OR three years of managerial experience managing a program which included creating contingency plans, conducting exercises to evaluate plans and training, responding to events creating civil disruption or environmental disturbance, or directing the recovery from such events.
• Bachelor's degree in any field and two years of experience managing a program including contingency plans, exercises, and recovery from events.

• Provide leadership and oversight of airport operations, SMS and security programs for ANC and LHD.
• Interpret and implement applicable aviation, safety, and regulatory requirements and ensure compliance.
