Job summary

California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) seeks an Emergency Management Coordinator/Instructor II to lead development, delivery, and evaluation of all-hazards emergency management training. This role coordinates with FEMA EMI and state training partners across California.

The position requires travel within the state and hybrid telework eligibility. You will manage training programs, ensure credentials remain current, and contribute to incident command training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience leading emergency management training development, delivery, and evaluation.
• Ability to ensure training meets national standards and FEMA EMI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of all-hazards emergency management training.
• Coordinate courses with state and federal training partners and EMI approvals.
