Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Senior Embryologist to support embryo culture, selection, and cryopreservation, working with the ART team to advance patient care.

The role requires strong attention to detail, completion of ICSI and biopsy training, and a commitment to accurate record-keeping and patient privacy. This is a full-time, onsite position with weekday hours and occasional weekend rotations to meet lab needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in reproductive biology, embryology, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably clinical embryology.
• Fully trained in ICSI and biopsy.
• Proficiency in embryology techniques with strict record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patient care, privacy and confidentiality.
• Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory procedures for culture, selection, and manipulation of human embryos, including gamete handling, insemination, embryo culture, embryo grading, and cryopreservation.
• Monitor lab conditions and equipment for optimal embryo development and ART processes.
• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement treatment plans for ART patients.
• Maintain accurate records of laboratory procedures and patient information, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Participate in QC/QA activities, proficiency testing, equipment maintenance, and inspections.
• Contribute to research and development to enhance lab protocols and outcomes.
• Stay updated on ART and reproductive biology advances to improve practices.
• Assist in training and mentoring laboratory staff and students as needed.

We are seeking a Senior Embryologist to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Ohio, located in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full-time, onsite position working Monday through Friday, shift times are variable based on lab needs, with occasional weekend and holiday rotations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all laboratory procedures related to the culture, selection, and manipulation of human embryos, including gamete handling, insemination, embryo culture, embryo grading, and cryopreservation.


• Monitor laboratory conditions and equipment to ensure an optimal environment for embryo development and ART processes.


• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients undergoing ART procedures.


• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory procedures and patient information, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.


• Participate in quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) activities, including proficiency testing, equipment maintenance, and laboratory inspections.


• Contribute to research and development initiatives to enhance laboratory protocols and outcomes.


• Stay updated on advancements in ART and reproductive biology to continuously improve practices.


• Assist in training and mentoring laboratory staff and students as needed.

Position Requirements

• Education:
