Pinnacle Fertility, Inc. in Chicago, IL seeks a dedicated Embryologist to support patient journeys through embryo culture, handling, and ART procedures.

This full-time, onsite role collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, precise care and continual improvement in laboratory practices. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in reproductive biology or embryology, with at least two years of hands-on embryology experience and ICSI training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in reproductive biology or embryology is required.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on clinical embryology experience outside of an ART training program.
• Fully trained in ICSI (required); biopsy training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab procedures for embryo culture, selection, manipulation, gamete handling, insemination, grading, and cryopreservation.
• Monitor lab conditions and equipment for optimal embryo development and ART processes.
• Collaborate with medical team to develop and implement treatment plans for ART patients.
• Maintain accurate records of lab procedures and patient information, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Participate in QC/QA activities, including proficiency testing, equipment maintenance, and inspections.
• Contribute to research to enhance lab protocols and outcomes.
• Stay updated on ART advancements to improve practices.
• Assist in training and mentoring lab staff and students.

We are seeking an Embryologist to join our dedicated team in Pinnacle Fertility- Illinois in Chicago, IL.This is a full-time, onsite position, working Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, with occasional weekend and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all laboratory procedures related to the culture, selection, and manipulation of human embryos, including gamete handling, insemination, embryo culture, embryo grading, and cryopreservation.
• Monitor laboratory conditions and equipment to ensure an optimal environment for embryo development and ART processes.
• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients undergoing ART procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory procedures and patient information, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) activities, including proficiency testing, equipment maintenance, and laboratory inspections.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives to enhance laboratory protocols and outcomes.
• Stay updated on advancements in ART and reproductive biology to continuously improve practices.
• Assist in training and mentoring laboratory staff and students as needed.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in reproductive biology, embryology, or a related field (required).
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on clinical embryology experience obtained outside of an ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) training program.
• Skills:
• Fully trained in ICSI (required).
• Fully trained in biopsy (highly preferred).
• Proficiency in embryology techniques, including cryopreservation, with a strong attention to detail in record-keeping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to patient care, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Salary Range: $70,000 - $140,000 annually (Final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
