Job summary

FORT Robotics is seeking a Sr. Embedded Software Engineer-Test Automation to advance testing for autonomous and robotic devices.

You will design end-to-end test frameworks and automate validation across software and hardware, coordinating with hardware and software teams to improve reliability and manufacturability. The role requires strong Python, Bash, and C++ skills, experience with test automation tools, and travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

5+ years designing and implementing tests for complex embedded products.
2+ years in embedded software test automation and test framework development.
Proficient in Python and Bash for data analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

Develop test methods and procedures to transition products from design into volume manufacturing.
Design automated tests, frameworks, and fixtures for software and hardware validation.
Execute regression, performance, stress, and reliability tests for Fort devices.
Collaborate with hardware and software teams to debug firmware and hardware issues.
Define testability requirements early in product development.
Support R&D test environments and production test processes.
Travel to customer sites as needed (10–20%).
