Job summary

Osmosis is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer, Embedded & Controls to lead development across embedded systems, edge-to-cloud telemetry, and on-board control architectures for Osmosis telematics devices.

The role owns the embedded software stack and runs the end-to-end telemetry pipeline to the cloud, guiding discovery of advanced sensing, HMIs, and digital switching for future on-board products, interfacing with OEM customers and executives.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent with 5+ years embedded experience.
• Proficient in C, C++, Golang, BASH, Structured Text, and TypeScript.
• Experience with edge-to-cloud telemetry (MQTT, Kafka) and Azure cloud.
• Strong communication and ability to lead cross-functional workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead embedded software development for Osmosis telematics devices and on-board controllers.
• Own end-to-end telemetry pipeline from edge to cloud on Azure.
• Prototype and evaluate vision, HMI, and digital switching concepts.
• Collaborate with OEMs and cross-functional teams to deliver features.
