Job summary
Bonsai Robotics in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Embedded Platform to own the embedded Linux platform for our field-deployed fleet. You’ll manage the Yocto-based image, the OTA update path, fleet provisioning, and the observability stack, from device boot to cloud dashboards.
Work across firmware, autonomy, and operations teams to define integration requirements, bring up new hardware, and build tooling.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry experience in embedded Linux, infrastructure, or robotics platform engineering
Responsibilities
- Own OTA updates end to end across the fleet with image, rollout, rollback and delivery
