Job summary
WINSYSTEMS is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team at our Grand Prairie headquarters, guiding strategy, product development, NPI, sustaining engineering, and production support. Qualifications
- 10-15+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience, ideally in embedded computer systems manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Hardware; a Master’s or MBA is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NPI, ERP/MES/PLM, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Drives product development and ensures technical excellence to meet goals for quality, cost, and delivery in a crossroads between R&D, manufacturing operations, and corporate strategy.
- Develop engineering strategies and align technical initiatives with corporate goals.
- Establish KPIs, monitor engineering metrics, and ensure high quality and efficiency across engineering units.
- Lead NPI efforts to ensure a disciplined transition from development to production.
- Drive DFMs to optimize product design for manufacturing reliability and cost.
