The candidate should have extensive embedded software experience, be a U.S. citizen with active TS/SCI clearance with poly, and be willing to work on-site for a 1-year assignment with standard 40-hour weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field plus 15+ years of experience; OR Master's with 10+ years; OR Ph.D. with 8+ years.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze technical information to drive mission objectives.
• Support design and implementation of ML and data engineering techniques for S&T missions.
• Perform C/C++ development for critical mission requirements.
• Explore newer languages like Go or Rust in embedded development.
• Develop for RTOS and embedded systems.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team and lead tasks on time and budget.
• Propose and implement creative technical solutions.
• Deliver polished work with minor revisions.
• Manage expectations and meet deadlines in an agile environment.
• Maintain communication with dispersed team members.
