Job summary

Andr Global Inc. is seeking an experienced embedded Software Engineer to guide the next generation of mission-critical national security systems.

The candidate should have a strong background in modern computer architecture and low-level embedded software development. Key duties include developing drivers and BSPs, debugging hardware-software boundary issues, and contributing to all phases of the software life cycle with a focus on reliability and security.

Qualifications

U.S. citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance.
BS or MS in computer engineering, electrical engineering, CS or related field.
8+ years of software development experience.
5+ years developing and debugging drivers, BSPs, bootloaders or low-level embedded software.
Experience in C/C++, assembly and/or Rust for embedded systems.
Experience developing embedded Linux systems.
Willingness to be onsite 100% with 9/80 schedule.

Responsibilities

Develop device drivers and board support packages for custom embedded systems.
Diagnose and debug complex hardware–software boundary issues.
Develop software to test manufactured circuit boards and diagnose issues.
Participate in peer reviews; identify, track and repair defects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design hardware–software interfaces.
Support all phases of the software life cycle, including requirements, design, implementation and testing.
Investigate root causes of complex issues and implement solutions.
Create software test plans, procedures, and technical documentation.
