Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company seeks a Software Engineer III (Electronics) to develop embedded software for HVAC and water heating controls. You will implement software for real-time embedded systems and contribute to a common controls architecture within Rheem's Advanced Technology Integration group.

Based in a hybrid role serving Rheem North America with offices in Roswell, GA, Lewisville, TX or Indianapolis, IN, you will collaborate across engineering, systems, and manufacturing teams to deliver

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT/engineering experience.
• 5+ years of C/C++ in real-time embedded systems.
• Experience with CAN, BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Capture electronic control requirements with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and extend software architecture for embedded applications.
• Create and execute tests and validations for software in product applications.
• Lead design reviews and participate in FMEA/DFM/DFT analyses.
• Prepare design and qualification documentation and support certification efforts.
