Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Software Development Engineer to build embedded software for advanced FPGA-based hardware, enabling 400G+ solutions. You'll develop drivers, cryptographic features, and end-to-end software in Rust and C/C++ on ARM/RISC-V platforms.

Work on hardware-in-the-loop testing, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with hardware and software teams. A TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• 2+ years experience with C, C++, or Rust.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software using Rust and integrate with third-party libraries for end-to-end 400G+ solutions.
• Develop low-level drivers for ARM and RISC-V targets, Linux drivers and kernel modules.
• Implement cryptographic/security requirements from government standards into embedded software.
