Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Sr System Software Validation engineer to lead validation planning and execution for embedded products, collaborating across systems, firmware, validation, and product teams.

You will drive system-level software decisions, ensure robust solutions, and mentor peers while contributing to reference designs and development platforms for broader customer adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 5-7 years of embedded firmware/software development across multiple IoT segments.
• Strong understanding of Software Architecture and Design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead software and system validation planning and execution of embedded products, apps and solutions.
• Drive system-level software decisions for robust, usable embedded solutions.
• Collaborate with systems, firmware/software, validation and product teams for hardware-software integration.
• Identify and mitigate system-level risks to ensure high user experience.
• Plan and execute prototype bring-up, bench-testing and evaluation.
• Support creation and review of technical documentation.
