Job summary

Ezurio, Akron, OH, seeks a Program Manager II – Software Engineering to lead embedded software/firmware co-development programs on Wi-Fi radios, SOMs, and SBCs. You will manage cross-functional teams across software, hardware, QA, and manufacturing, coordinating with customers and internal stakeholders in a hybrid Akron-based role.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years managing electronics-design programs, strong Atlassian tool experience, and a track record delivering secure, compliant software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of program or project management in electronics design (embedded software/firmware).
• Direct experience managing customer co-development programs (NRE or joint development) preferred.
• Experience with embedded platforms (e.g., NXP i.MX, TI) and wireless certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end software/firmware co-development programs from initiation through release and support.
• Define and maintain detailed schedules, release plans, and budgets aligned with commitments.
• Coordinate globally distributed teams across embedded software, firmware, cloud, QA/test, and hardware.
• Produce program status reports for SLT and customers; manage risks with clear options and recommendations.
• Stand up and optimize Atlassian toolsets (Jira, Confluence, BigPicture, Tempo).
