Qualifications

• Clearance: Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• 7–10 years embedded software development experience with 3–5 years leading a software team.
• Proficiency in C++, C, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with RTOS environments (VxWorks, QNX, FreeRTOS), Embedded Linux, and deterministic scheduling.
• Hands-on with Git and CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with Angular and Qt/QML for UI development.
• Strong knowledge of UDP/TCP, multicast networking, and DDS.
• Experience in classified/restricted environments (DoD/IC/defense contractors).
• Strong security practices for handling classified data; RMF/STIG compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of embedded software engineers.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of complex embedded software projects.
• Provide technical guidance on architecture, design, and implementation for embedded systems.
• Mentor and coach team members for career growth.
• Drive process improvements and engineering best practices.
• Manage resource planning, scheduling, and stakeholder communications for on-time delivery.
