Aether Aerospace is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead advanced aircraft capabilities and systems development. The successful candidate will serve as the primary interface between engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and executive leadership while driving the development of next‑generation aircraft systems, subsystems, and technologies. This role is responsible for coordinating cross‑functional engineering teams, managing technical schedules, controlling budgets, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful achievement of program objectives throughout the product lifecycle. The Project Manager will be responsible and be the single point of contact for all aspects of assigned projects. The role requires the development of detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Will conduct project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensure adherence to quality standards, reviews, and project deliverables. Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team. Recommends and drives action to direct the analysis, solutions, and plans to solve any emerging challenges.
The proposed salary range for this position is $160,000‑$180,000. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical, or business discipline and 10+ years of experience leading cross‑functional teams or project or program management experience leading technical development or execution efforts.
