Job summary

Meet Life Sciences is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead embedded software development for complex medical devices. You will drive architecture, requirements, and production-quality code in collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients.

Responsibilities include defining software requirements, guiding the full lifecycle from design to testing, mentoring engineers, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and IEC 62304.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 5–9+ years embedded software experience.
• Experience leading small software teams.
• Experience with FDA-regulated development and IEC 62304.

Responsibilities

• Lead embedded software development across full lifecycle.
• Define and allocate software requirements with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Develop software architecture and make decisions on performance, safety, cost, maintainability.
• Lead small software engineering teams through planning, delegation, execution and delivery.
• Design, implement, test, and integrate production-quality software.
• Own technical quality across architecture, code, design and artifacts.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to process improvements and libraries.
• Ensure software aligns with FDA regulations and IEC 62304.
