Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ software development.
• Extensive experience developing applications on Linux-based and embedded platforms.
• Experience developing software for industrial controls, instrumentation, automation systems, IoT products, or edge computing solutions.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Desired knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, MQTT, OPC UA, or similar technologies.
• Desired knowledge of AI/ML technologies and data analytics.
• Desired experience developing real-time, multithreaded applications.
• Desired experience with modern web development technologies, including JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, React, Angular, Node.js, or similar front-end and back-end frameworks.
• Desired experience with secure application development practices and cybersecurity.
• Desired knowledge of developing full-stack web applications using databases, cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Desired experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, document, andmaintaincomplex software applications and embedded systems
• Develop software for embedded Linux platforms, industrial controls, instrumentation systems, and IoT edge devices
• Lead software architecture, technical design reviews, and software development projects from concept through deployment
• Design, develop, andmaintainmodern web applications, user interfaces, dashboards, and data visualization tools for industrial and digital solutions
• Develop cloud-connected applications and services for remote monitoring, diagnostics, analytics, device management, and digital product offerings
• Develop algorithms for data acquisition, signal processing, analytics, artificial intelligence, and operational intelligence solutions
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, controls, manufacturing, and product management teams to deliver integrated solutions
• Develop and implement AI-enabled capabilities that enhance automation, diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and operational efficiency
• Ensure software quality through code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration, cybersecurity best practices, and engineering standards
• Mentor junior engineer(s) and provide technical leadership while driving continuous improvement, innovation, and product modernization
