Job summary

Coperion Process Solutions LLC is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of embedded Linux platforms, industrial controls, instrumentation systems, and IoT edge devices. You will drive software architecture, design reviews, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable industrial solutions.

You will develop web interfaces, dashboards, and cloud-connected services, and apply AI-enabled capabilities for diagnostics and predictive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 5+ years of software development with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong C/C++ skills and extensive Linux-based embedded software experience.
• Experience in industrial controls, IoT, and edge computing.
• Knowledge of modern web tech and data visualization; able to collaborate across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, and maintenance of embedded and industrial software.
• Develop for embedded Linux, IoT edge devices, and cloud-connected services.
• Champion software architecture reviews, CI/CD, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement and modernization.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and product teams to deliver integrated solutions.
