Job summary

Colossus Technologies Group is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer in Melbourne, FL to design, develop, and test real-time software for mission-critical systems. You will work primarily in C/C++ within RTOS environments, leveraging VxWorks and Wind River Helix platforms.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with aerospace/defense contexts, including low-level debugging, device drivers, BSPs, and hardware interfaces, and will collaborate across hardware, systems, and software

Qualifications

• Hands-on embedded C/C++ development experience in RTOS environments.
• Experience with VxWorks, Wind River Helix, or related Wind River technologies.
• Background in aerospace, avionics, defense, or safety-critical products is highly desirable.
• Experience with embedded Linux, device drivers, BSPs, low-level debugging, or hardware interfaces is a plus.
